i'm sneak-listening to the upcoming regina spektor album (wee anja!) and it is so good! i'm loving it. when it drops in june i will buy that along with her previous album because i don't wanna mooch her music anymore.
i know i've said it before, but i'm really not like most of my friends (especially not most of ya'll here on lj!) in that i never seek new music out. it's just a weird hangup i have. there are only less than a handful of sources i get any new music from - either an artist or band i've enjoyed for 5-10 years ha a new release (i'd say about 10 artists and bands fit this) or i get it from anja or moonriddengirl.
therefore it's such a rare treat for me to get my hands on an album that i actually feel like trying to listen from top to bottom the way i am with this regina album. i'm four songs into it and so loving it. yey, i got new music! yeyyy!
(funnyfunny so far: "on the radio we heard november rain, that song is really long, but it is a pretty song, we listened to it twice..." ...hehe, regina always makes me smile)
work went well and the teamleader is happy i've made such progress so i get to stick around for a new trial-period to see if it's a fluke or if i can really be a part of this project. at this point.. well, whatever. i'm starting to get the hang of it and am really enjoying the area i'm working in (i love getting to spend my lunch hour in the city with all the shops and cafés and people. also, i see lots of swedish celebs, haha, because it's a posh part of town). if this means i can stop waiting to be fired for a few more weeks, i'll go with it, thanks. in the meantime, i know that i can rack up a nice chunk of extra money whenever i manage to make sales so... looking forward to that.
