must be that time

the weeks just fly by, don't they?

after a very stressful day at work last friday (loads of work-emergencies that kept me occupied from 7 am and all the way to 10 pm when i got the last "help!" call to my cellphone from some distressed person at work) and had a woooonderful weekend.

i pretty much live at marps' place these days, and oddly enough, it just keeps getting nicer and nicer.

because my work is so crazy, and the hours i work keep changing, i don't really have all that much sparetime, so i currently don't have time to follow any tv-shows (which for me is freakish!), nor spend much time online (hence the "almost no-posts").

and still, i'm really, really content. no, happy. it's pretty damn cool. marp is awesome. and stubborn. and can in no way give me way-directions because we apparently speak completely different languages when it comes to giving/instructions... but he also cooks for me when i'm drop-dead tired, randomly does my laundry, or just plain sits on the couch to keep me company. it's lovely. :)

but now... i have to get back to work. i'm giving an 8-hour introductory training session with 26 attendees. i have a cold and can barely speak. it's.. interesting. hahaha.

hope you all are reasonably well. :)

p.s. fröken touretta - jag hoppas du hade en fiiiiiiiiiiin födelsedag! (jag var offline och dumma mig missade säga det på rätt dag :/)

I miss you! I mentioned this to my kid yesterday, and he said to me, "I bet Jennie really hates Wikipedia" LOL! It's nice to know he thinks the feeling must be mutual. :) I'm still hoping to get out to Paris sometime to meet up with you. I can't go in December with Steve, but maybe sometime in the late spring? Is it still something you could potentially do?

(So happy about you and Marp! Hee!)

i miss you too! i'm not mad at wikipedia though, hahaha, i love that you get to use your awesome skills at a really good project. go you!

late spring next year would be PERFECT - i've been planning to drag marp to paris late spring, because i loved my paris spring visit so much. this is definitely something i could potentially do - i have loads of saved up paid vacation time, and i'm FINALLY getting somewhere with my savings account. if not paris in the springtime, then i will DEFINITELY see you in nc next summer/early fall (depending on your schedule :)). i love that i can say that and know that i'm finally getting there.

(i'm happy about me and marp, too. we were both surprised to realize that yesterday was our 9 month anniversary, and we've pretty much lived together for almost 4 months straight, now. i'm very comfortable, and happy. and yes, people may now thwap me, haha.)
