monday monday

wow. after 4 days off work, it was quite the jolt to go back today. so much to do. including booking train tickets and hotels for my next 3-day training sessions at other offices. i'll go away to train a group in gothenburg friday-sunday, and then next tuesday-til-friday i go to another office to do some training.

and to think, amidst all this, i've had time to try and twist marp's arm into agreeing to go to iceland. no luck so far, but not for lack of trying. he's being sensible, and i'm being more.. eh.. nuts. but it would be cool. support iceland's economy while taking advantage of the dip in airfare by going to iceland = win/win, no?

but then somebody at work told me about the hideous smell that comes with the hot springs, and suddenly i'm thinking.. no. hehe. i'm very sensitive to nutty smells (currently suffering because marp burnt some porridge this morning and the apartment still reeks, meh!) so that might be a dealbreaker...

eh, we'll see.

other than that, i'm working on my concert photo's. i want to drastically restructure my website, killtoknow.org, so that the pictures are smaller and watermarked, but also so that i use wordpress and hence can cut down on the effort it takes to update. that way i could update more often. as it stands, i hesitate in updating and after a few months i've been to enough new concerts to forget about posting pictures from the older shows.

tomorrow - election day! gooooo obama! i'm definitely staying up to watch. :D

PLEASE don't let the smell of the hot springs keep you from visiting Iceland. It is so gorgeous! It is a must-see! YOU'VE GOT TO GO!!!

Besides, you get used to it after a couple of days. ;o)

Hehe, somehow i knew you'd pop up! ;) I'm lobbying for it hard, but the marp is being all annoying and, eh, sensible. He pointed out that we just got back from Germany two weeks ago, and that we'll be travelling both to southern sweden and northern sweden for christmas and new years. But he left the window open for early next year. So... it's definitely put on The List. If I manage to lobby the trip through, I will so tap you for info. :)

The smell is only bad around the blue lagoon :) Iceland is lovely. Twist Marp's arm some more - you should really go.

argh, i'm twisting! hahaha! he just pointed out that he'd love to go, but that perhaps it'd be cooler to go in january/february when we are dead-tired of swedish winter and want to see something new. he might have a point.. oh, but i wanna go nooooow. :D

to be honest, the eggy smell was kind of annoying, especially when taking a hot shower, but i'd still say that it shouldn't let it stop you from visiting Iceland! it's such an amazing place to visit. mind you, if you went now wouldn't it be kind of dark most of the time?
