finally work is over - 10,5 hrs at a callcenter really sucks, heh.

we had a contest this the evening over who could reach the most people on the phone, and who could get the most of those people to actually participate rather than decline. i won. hahaha. the prize? a WHOLE CAN OF DIET COKE, yey! hahaha. (i beat about 35 other people, though, so that's cool.)

tomorrow we have the day off due to it being 060606. well, specifically, it's sweden's national day. we only started getting the day off work last year, or possibly the year before, so we are all really, really bad at celebrating it. a huge effort is made to make as many people celebrate, uh, sweden, tomorrow, so hopefully that'll be fun!

i'm meeting up with cassandra (considering we spend 5 days a week with each other, and have for half a year, it's kinda typical we end up doing something even on a day off...)to go to a free concert thingy at the stockholm stadium with a bunch of swedish artists participating. eh, it's free, and i want to see at least one of the artists (håkan hellström, anybody recall how i fangirled all about him maybe 6 years ago? hahaha). although.. honestly? my real urge to go stems from wanting to sing our national anthem with, like, 25,000 other people.

I KNOW. i'm a nerd. i love celebrating stuff, what can i say?! we hope to buy some swedish flags on the way. hey, ya'll know me - when i comit, i comit fully. i don't care if it's saint patrick's day, christmas, halloween, somebody's birthday, other countries national day (yey 4th july, yey 17 may!), our hockey team returning after a major win... i want to celebrate, and you can't stop me, hahaha.

dad got all worried when i told him i'd be going into the city tomorrow - there are plenty of rumours going on that there might be quite a lot of messy bullshit between the.. uh... well, the people who want to pretend they love sweden but really just want to feel superior and kick immigrants out, and the people who... don't like those people. hrm.

i don't know. we'll see. i hope things will be calmer and more joyful than expected. i wish the people pretending to hyper-love sweden would work on making this a really great place rather than make it a place i have to feel even the least bit of embarrassment and shame over.

okay. and now? i shall drink my can of diet coke VICTORY and enjoy the gorgeous summer night. the lilacs are in full bloom and almost knocked me out when i took a walk earlier - sometimes, it's really hard not to love life.

somabish: hee hee

i think she's been in a few group shots ages ago, but here you go:

last halloween - she was the only one to dress up along with me.

out having drinks with co-workers.

i only have pictures of her laughing like crazy because like me, she spends a large part of every day obnoxiously bubbly and laughing. together, we're insane and scare people as we cause each other to choke from giggles and snort laughter and pure cackling. she's an absolutely adorable girl, short with big boobs and naturally curly hair. she's only 19, haha, so i'm her old lady hag co-worker friend, haha, but it works. it's really weird how we are now our only other actual co-worker - since our way old e-mail project, we've been shipped everywhere together and will be spending june together up in the tiny town as well. good thing we still get along. :)

hehehe.. whee! she looks adorable! and it's great to have a close work buddy.. they make the hours fly by and it's always great to have someone who you can bitch about things and decompress with..

I have a gay male friend.. I use to work with him at the old call centre for the ISP, and when I moved to the bank, I got him a job here.. and it's been soo good to have someone else around..

plus on friday nights we go to the gay clubs and I can perve on cute boys and not worry about the old men trying to pick me up.. hehehe

i approve of sir möneybröther! he seems really, really nice. i hope to see him perform sometime just because i imagine the vibe being great the way seeing håkan 6 years ago was this amazing energetic experience. :)
