my internet connection went down. i immediately tried repairing it, and when that didn't work, i rebooted the router and it still didn't work so... i called my internet provider.
this probably doesn't sound amusing unless you know that the project i'm working on at work is ...for my internet service provider. calling "our" technical support in a private matter amused me greatly.
i had the tech support guy laughing because i reported the problem as having occured 5 minutes ago, and he started troubleshooting their system and.. found a main error affecting a bunch of customers that started exactly 5 minutes earlier, and i was the first to report in. i'm such a nerd. i explained that i'm normally the first one reporting when the customer's service programs crash and burn at work so obviously i can't let go of the habit off-work either, haha.
i'm totally gonna check out the log he made on my account tomorrow and send an e-mail, haha.
in other news... still queasy. 8(
