clever title

recap of the somabish life:

- got back from our cali-nevada roadtrip last thursday. the roadtrippin' went fabulous, the trip home, less so. delays, bumped flights, more delays, battered suitcases (they managed to shake my suitcase so much they BROKE a 6 lbs cast-iron decorative cross in two!!), crap food, surly staff, endless airport security checks... blehhh. but again. we did get back to sweden and only a day late, so whatever. yey?

- went to work straight from the airport on thursday. got huge project smack in my lap which is now causing great distress to one and all involved, haha.

- came down with massive cold during friday, have been pretty out of it ever since. am at work today sounding like a lizard crawled up my nose, but other than that, i'll live..

- am extremely obsessed with buying a guitar even though i don't play guitar, or any instrument, really. almost bought it in the us but lucky i didn't in hindsight considering how crap the ride home was. i don't want A guitar, i only want this guitar (note: it's not that garishly coloured or patterned, more like a soft dark blue). i just want to own it and pet it and stare at it and maybe hug it a bit. play it? naah. hehe.

that's about it. am still quite jetlagged but since i also have a cold, i can't quite decide which is jackin' my sleep up more right now. eh, it'll pass, on both accounts, i'm sure.

Oh, things are great on my side. No major news lately; but I usually consider that to be a good thing: just keeping busy, still seeing lots of shows (Grinderman coming up on Friday!), and generally enjoying myself.

I was going to comment on your other post but this seems like a fine place to say that I loved your trip photos. Those were some of my favourite pictures of yours.

I should pop in to say hi more often. It's always good to read that things are going well for you.
